The new ThermaData Lite data logger is an affordable temperature data logging device or blind temperature recorder designed for monitoring ambient temperature. It is water-resistant, thanks to its polyethylene casing, and incorporates two LEDs for status indication. It can store up to 16,000 readings in its memory.
The ThermaData Studio software allows users to program the sampling interval (from 0.1 to 255 minutes), real-time clock, °C/°F, delayed start (maximum 23 hours, 59 minutes), temperature start or time start, and a 32-character user ID. The software also includes a calibration adjustment function protected by a password, enabling the user to verify the calibration of the recordings and make minor adjustments of 0.1 °C (±3 °C).
Users can set high and low alarm values within the software for specific applications. With a single button press, a simple visual check of the unit will indicate if any of the alarm limits have been exceeded. A flashing red LED will notify the user of alarm limit exceedance (reject), while a flashing green LED will indicate that the alarm limits have not been exceeded (accept).
ThermaData Studio Software:
The ThermaData Studio software is provided free of charge. The ThermaData Lite data logger connects to a computer via a USB-C port cable, and by selecting the appropriate icon, the data can be downloaded and displayed as a graph, table, or summary. The information can then be analyzed with zooming capability, saved as a Studio file, or exported to other software packages.
The new ThermaData Lite automatically generates a report on the computer, which provides detailed information about the high and low alarms, as well as various basic information. No software is required to generate the PDF report. The automatically generated report displays essential information, such as instrument details, recording summary, and major alarms. The PDF also includes a graph for easy visualization.
